Purpose

To express, through worship, fellowship, cooperation and service, the essential
mission of the Christian Church, as rooted in the Old and New Testaments.

To provide an interdenominational agency for cooperation of the churches.

To respond to the religious needs of the community and devise plans through which
these needs can be met.

The membership of the WAFC consists of the churches of the Waynesboro Area who accept
the Articles and the Bylaws and who express through official action their desire
to join the WAFC.

Membership is extended to representatives of church-related and public service-related
agencies, institutions, and individuals within the area.

Dues are required of all member churches, agencies, institutions, and individuals
except agencies supported by WAFC budgeted mission funds.

When dues are not paid in the calendar year, member churches, agencies, institutions
and individuals shall be classified as Associate Members.
